What is CAPEXIL?

Established in 1958, CAPEXIL is a non‑profit export promotion body under the Ministry of Commerce. It supports exporters of over 80,000 chemical and allied products through international trade fairs, market delegations, and policy advocacy to boost India’s global presence.

Objectives of CAPEXIL Certification

Types of Membership

Associate Membership requires a valid IEC and suits new exporters. Ordinary Membership is open to Associate members with at least 3 years’ export experience and minimum annual export performance of ₹10 lakh (small) or ₹25 lakh (large).

1. Documents Required for Registration

• Company incorporation certificate, MOA/AOA, PAN details

• Import Export Code (IEC), GST registration, cancelled cheque

• Board resolution authorizing membership and latest annual report

• CA-certified turnover statements for specified thresholds

• Manufacturing license (if applicable) and self-declaration of non-blacklisted status

• Export performance data and passport-size photographs of authorized signatories

How to Apply Online

1. Register as new user on CAPEXIL portal with IEC and firm details

2. Upload scanned copies of all required documents

3. Pay membership fee via DD or online gateway (₹3,000–₹10,000 based on category)

4. Receive application number after document verification

5. Certificate issued by Ministry of Commerce upon successful review

• MSME Domestic Suppliers: ₹3,000 • MSME Manufacturer‑Exporters: ₹5,000 • Large Manufacturers/Merchant Exporters: ₹10,000 Additional charges apply for dual RCMC or panel registration
